“If you don’t get murdered by an Israeli missile, you will live your entire life with monstrous memories.
Last night was one of the worst nights I have experienced since the Israeli aggression began. We have NO electricity as we had just it for less than 4 hours in the the last week and it worse after the IOF attacked the Gaza’s sole power plant, left it damaged and set it on fire.
Last night there was shelling everywhere, several shrapnel hit our house’s wall. We were gathered in one room all together, my nephews and nieces were crying. The shelling continued for the whole day and night . During the day over 15 Palestinians were killed in Jabalia Camp-Al Faljoa region after the crazy Israeli artillery shelling that targeted civilian houses there.
Before sunrise, a UN school in Jabaliya refugee camp where I live was struck by three Israeli shells. At least 23 civilians were murdered in the attack.
The people in the school had left everything behind after they were forced to leave their homes under the threat of being killed by the Israeli war machine.Fleeing from death to death, they got murdered while they were sleeping. Whole families have been wiped out. There is nothing left here just sorrow and misery for the ones who survived. 129 Palestinians have been murdered since this morning and more than 400 injured. The toll of fatalities has raised up to 1359 killed and 7677 injured in Gaza.”

After a power plant was destroyed, electricity and water supplies collapsed. Sara Badiei, an ICRC water engineer in Gaza, describes the devastating knock-on effects of the lack of electricity for hospitals and water supplies in the Strip:
”Again the power plant was hit yesterday morning…
Electricity in Gaza: 20 percent.
Only pockets receive electricity and for couple of hours, not more.
3 fifths of Gaza strip have no electricity, and that includes Gaza city which right now has more than 1 million people in it.
These infrastructures have to be protected; they are not a part of the conflict; they are separate, they are needed for civilians. And now everybody is affected: hospital need electricity…, telecommunication networks are extremely important. When there’s a problem somewhere the only way people can get to us is to call us by the phone, ”come and save us”. If their phone is not working, they’re ina lot of trouble.
If there is no electricity, there is no water…
Almost 400,000 people have been displaced.”
