#Gaza War Protest Reaches 100,000 Strong in #London!

For the second weekend in a row, tens of thousands of protesters took to the streets of London in support of Gazan civilians. Last Saturday, 26 July, a huge show of support for the people of Gaza showed that support is growing fast — and the tide of public opinion is turning.
The protesters and speakers addressed the crowd, noting a new popular willingness to take a stand for Gaza.
Official police estimates put the number of protesters at 45,000, but others estimated as high as 100,000.
Outside of Parliament, musicians Brian Eno and Dave Randall spoke to the crowd. Joining them was the children’s poet and author Michael Rosen as well as comedian Jeremy Hardy.
There were also representatives from major #UK trade unions who voiced their support for the civilians of Gaza.
