Israeli forces accused of killing unarmed Palestinian in Hebron

A Palestinian man was shot multiple times near the Kiryat Arba settlement in Hebron on Wednesday.
Israeli sources said that the Israeli army managed to "neutralise" a Palestinian man near Kiryat Arba after a stabbing attempt.
However, eyewitnesses quoted by International Solidarity Movement (ISM) based in Hebron disputed the army’s version of events.

According to the quoted eyewitness, Ibeidu was searched by Israeli soldiers by the checkpoint and released, before orders were given to execute him.
Imad Abu Shamsieh, a local activist, told Maan News Agency that "Israeli soldiers opened fire at a youth in the Tel Rumeida area where Hammam Said was killed on Tuesday".
Hammam Said was the third Palestinian to be shot and killed on Tuesday night, after two other Palestinian men were shot and killed by the Gush Etzion junction south of Bethlehem.
In both cases, the Israeli army claimed the men were involved in stabbing attacks. But local activists in Tel Rumeida said they heard six gunshots before seeing Israeli soldiers placing a knife near Said's body.
On Wednesday, a Palestinian stabbed and lightly wounded an Israeli settler woman in a supermarket in Gush Etzion.
The Palestinian was arrested. Israeli police spokesperson Micky Rosenfeld confirmed the incident, saying a "terrorist" had been captured at the scene and the area was closed.
The latest killing brings the death toll of Palestinians to at least 64 since the beginning of October. Nine Israelis have been killed during the same period.
