BREAKING: Many Killed and 20 Wounded in Ongoing Hostage Situation in San Bernardino, California
Between 1-3 shooters, identified as wearing military-style clothing, possibly carrying body armor and several weapons, have killed many and wounded 20 others in an attack at a San Bernadino, California hospital just around the corner from a Planned Parenthood clinic. The exact number of deaths has yet to be officially confirmed.
SBFD units responding to reports of 20 victim shooting incident in 1300 block of S. Waterman. SBPD is working to clear the scene.
The shooting happened at the Inland Regional Center at 11:30 am local time. Inland is a nonprofit health clinic that treats the developmentally disabled, located on the 1300 block of South Waterman Avenue near Orange Show Road and Park Center Circle.
First responders and SWAT teams are being deployed to the scene right now, and are attempting to evacuate survivors from the building using school buses. Police are urging local residents to stay clear of the area until the situation is secured. Police are also giving reports of “suspicious devices” inside the building. Local hospitals are “in disaster mode,” according to local media on the ground.
